We and our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA and South Africa. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account and learning data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months after you close it, so you can come back. Records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons are retained for the period required by law. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your data protection authority โ in South Africa, the Information Regulator. Email us and we will respond within one month.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls and row-level database security. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep families safe.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember the selected player profile, language and progress, and to secure checkout. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the Service may then stop working.
